If students arrive to, or depart from, school via Tri-Met, they are expected to use the appropriate crosswalks and follow other safety rules. OLL school does not provide Safety Patrol personnel at any crosswalk.

When OLL uses a bus company for field trips, it is expected that student behavior be appropriate at all times. Directions of a faculty or parent volunteer chaperone will be followed.

• The traffic patterns are designed for the safety of the children.
• Please drive slowly at all times.
• Our goal is to keep all cars off the playground area during school hours.
• Cars should follow the accepted traffic patterns.

1. Enter the Parish grounds onto the Alley from either 'A' Ave. or Evergreen St. If you are going West on 'A', please make your turn directly across from the alley using the left hand turn lane.
2. The first cars will begin to line up nearest the play equipment Line A on the map. Please leave the reserved line open at all times for the individual who paid for "First in Line Anytime" at the previous year’s auction.
3. When line 'A' is full (at the alley's edge), Line 'B' will form using the same guidelines as Line 'A". Subsequently, as B is full, the next cars will form lines C and D. If D becomes full, follow the directions of the staff member directing traffic flow. There will be cones indicating these areas until we are all accustomed to the process.
   
   
   
   
4. When the bell rings, all children will wait in the designated areas, by class, in the back of the school. Be assured that the teachers will cooperate and have the children out on time.
5. When the children are outside, one of the teachers will direct Line 'A' to move forward to pick up children. You will stop approximately at the base of the little hill between the church and the school. Faculty will be there to retrieve your children/carpool from the class areas and load them from the right hand side of the car only (or the back of the car for those cars/vans with the back entry) Wherever your car stops, please pick up ALL the children who will be riding in your car there and refrain from stopping two or three times along the pick up line. The children will come to you.
6. When you have your group you will proceed behind the church and out onto 8th street.
7. On the rare occasion your child is not outside and ready to be loaded, you will have space to turn left and wait in the 'G' parking area for the child. This will be the exception not the rule.

1. Please enter the grounds from the alley and move forward to the base of the same hill.
2. Stop to drop off the children. For safety reasons students may exit the car from the right side or rear of the car only.
3. Have your children ready to unload prior to entering the grounds. That is, they should have in hand their book bag, lunch, etc. Your messages to them should have occurred before the car door opens.
4. Proceed out of the parking area behind the church and leave from 8th Street.
5. If you are coming into the school with your child, you must park in area E and walk along the building.
